Singer and violinist Paul Dateh has garnered millions of views on the web as well as national exposure on television and in print. Dateh has since released two records: a self-titled record issued in January of 2009, and “The Good Life” – a collaborative EP with guitarist Ken Belcher. Mika Todd, former lead of the nationally renowned popular Japanese teen singing group Mini Moni, is no stranger to performing in front of the masses. She was initially discovered in Hawaii and signed into the Hello! Project, a collection of Japanese pop groups. Since then, she has starred in many stadium shows and made numerous musical appearances on national television throughout Japan. Now a resident in the Southland, she wrote the special song she is performing tonight as a tribute to the people of Japan.

 
Founded in 2000, TAIKOPROJECT is an ensemble of premiere taiko drummers edicated to promoting and advancing the American art of taiko. Through public performances, education, and outreach activities, TAIKOPROJECT is committed to preserving taiko as a dynamic element of Japanese American culture and heritage. In addition to maintaining taiko as a community-based tradition, TAIKOPROJECT also incorporates unconventional and innovative concepts to expand artistic boundaries. Through these values, TAIKOPROJECT seeks not only to entertain audiences, but also to inform them about the history and integrity of taiko as an evolving art form. Seamlessly blending taiko with storytelling, music, hip hop choreography, multimedia, and dance, TAIKOPROJECT performs nationally and internationally and has appeared on numerous television commercials and shows, including the 2009 Academy Awards and the 2011 Grammy Awards. TAIKOPROJECT is endorsed by Asano Taiko Company, Ltd., which was founded in 1609 and is one of Japan's oldest and most prestigious taiko drum-makers.

 
Janice-Marie is the Grammy award winning Taste of Honey performer/writer of mega hits incluidng Boogie Oogie Oggie, which hit #1 on the international charts and an English re-write of "Sukiyaki", which was #1 on the national charts and receivd a Gold Status in Japan. She has appeared on national t.v. shows, including Entertainment Tonight and has recorded with other major artists, including Ice Cube and Keisha Cole.
 
Drummer/percussionist Richie Gajate Garcia plays Latin, jazz, pop and world fusion. His major influences are Tito Puente and Armando Perazzo. He has performed throughout the world with artists such as Phil Collins, Sting, Tito Puente, Diana Ross, Patti Labelle, Amy Grant, and Hiroshima. He has been widely recognized as one of the best percussionists in the world.
 
Hiroshima-born Iron Chef America star Masaharu Morimoto was classically trained in sushi and kaiseki and has developed his famous fusion style of cooking. With a worldwide following, he has highly successful restaurants throughout the world, including New York City, Philadelphia, Tokyo, Hawaii, Florida and India. He made his acting debut on April 11, 2011 on Hawaii Five-O, playing himself.
 
Son of Filipino entertainment legend Bert Nievera, Martin was born in Manila, Philippines and spent spent most of his childhood in Hawaii as his father sang for the group S.O.S. ("Society of Seven"). Inspired by his father's talent and success, Martin returned to the Philippines to pursue his own musical career in 1982. His first album released in 1982, "Martin...Take One" turned platinum in only 5 months ( a record back then ). He also won the Most Promising Entertainer Award the same year. It was the start of something big for him. He continued to rake in gold and platinum awards for his albums and even went on to host a number of hit TV shows, endorse a multitude of products and event act in several movies. He also headlined various concerts around the globe - from Dubai to Melbourne, Los Angeles to Toronto, London to Tokyo - earning him the moniker "Concert King of the Philippines". Martin's singing style is very versatile, claiming he has been influenced by the likes of Kenny Loggins, Chicago, James Ingram and Brian McKnight. He can sing upbeat songs with flair but its his love for ballads that have endeared him to his fellow "kababayans" (countrymen). His passion for helping those in need drives his involvement with many charitable causes both in his homeland as well as around the world. He is the unofficial ambassador of Filipino music to the global audience.
 
Representing Halau Keali'i O Nalani, Kumu Hula Keali'i Ceballos. She won 2010 E HULA MAU: MISS KAIKAMAHINE SOLOIST, placing 1st place KAHIKO (traditional), 1st place 'AUANA (modern) and 1st place 'OLELO (best chant for all competitors).
 
Kekaiulu Hula Studio in Torrance was founded by Kumu (hula teacher) Moku Yoshikawa in 2005. He relocated from Hawaii where he taught hula and studied under other hula masters. Moku is a talented Hawaiian falsetto singer, chanter, musician and composer. Kumu Moku also maintains Kekaiulu hula studios in Japan and Hawaii. The band “Haloa, featuring Moku and “Aolani” as vocalists, will perform with the Kekaiulu dancers.
